Life stories come tumbling out. Prejudices, entrenched views and rows duly ensue. Questions are asked that, in polite society, tend not to be asked. Not everyone will like the answers, either. The oldest member of the group, Markus, is 32, while the youngest, Charlie, is 19, so we are talking about millennials here — most of them not short on opinions. Thomas Fisher, 22, faces Hastings Magistrates' Court today accused of murdering his mother Fiona Fisher (pictured, right), who was found dead at home in Crowborough on Friday. Mr Fisher is charged with murder, fraud, driving while disqualified and driving without insurance. Detectives reportedly found blood in the bathroom at the house (pictured, inset).

Pharmacists acting like ‘street drug dealers’ are flooding the black market with potentially dangerous prescription drugs such as Xanax. A Daily Mail investigation has uncovered evidence of chemists illegally selling highly addictive medication for cash without asking for prescriptions. The drugs can then be swiftly sold on through social media to young people in schools and universities where they are increasingly being abused with devastating consequences. Pharmacists are exploiting a growing trend among young people for prescription-only drugs such as the strong benzodiazepines Xanax and diazepam and the opioid tramadol. Drug dealers sell the Xanax tablets – which are used to treat anxiety – on social media for between £1 and £3 each.

Alfie Evans's mother has shared a touching poem in memory of her son who died in hospital in Liverpool in the early hours of Saturday. Kate James, who fought a long-running legal battle over Alfie's treatment for a degerative neurological condition, shared a tribute to the 23-month-old with the words: 'We love you Alfie'. The poem begins: 'Mummy please don’t cry now. For I must go to sleep. I’ll be beside you always.' It has also emerged that Alfie Evans's father, Tom Evans, battled to keep his son alive with mouth-to-mouth before being forced to accept he could not save him. Family members have revealed how Tom, 21, was 'blowing and blowing' as he tried to resuscitate Alfie for ten minutes in the early hours of Saturday.

Images of a calf confined in a tiny hutch and a hobbling, apparently emaciated, cow have emerged in disturbing dairy farm footage taken by an animal rights group at Fairfield Farm and Halswell Farm in south Devon. The first picture of a calf in a pen barely big enough to contain it (bottom left) suggests it is being reared in conditions that could breach welfare rules. The second distressing image, from a different nearby farm, shows the injured cow – with bones poking through its skin – struggling to walk (right).

She believes the effort over your appearance is different when you're in the public eye. Joan recalls a fan trying to take a photograph of her in hospital shortly after giving birth. Daniel Saynt, 35, is the founder of the NSFW (New Society for Wellness) sex club - a members-only group that hosts parties and events at a townhouse in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. The average age of a NSFW member is 28 years old and they each go through a careful selection process that takes into account how attractive they are, their social media presence and any fantasies they might have. Among the 700 people that currently have memberships to the private club are models, actors, celebrities and entrepreneurs.

Vanessa Trump (right) reportedly made a 'violently graphic' phone call to Aubrey O'Day (left) when she first heard rumors that her husband, Donald Trump, Jr, was having an affair with the singer and songwriter. A source told Page Six that Vanessa 'went gangster' on the former Celebrity Apprentice contestant. The affair is believed to have began in 2011 when O'Day was a contestant on NBC's Celebrity Apprentice, a scene from which is shown inset, at top in the middle. Vanessa filed for divorce from Don, Jr in March. Previously, before Vanessa even met Don, Jr, she was called a 'gangster b****' and 'an ill thug' by a former classmate in a 1998 New York Magazine article romantically linking her to Leonardo DiCaprio. Don, Jr and Vanessa are seen together, inset at the bottom, at the White House Correspondents Association dinner in 2016.

Members of the human caravan that has traveled through Mexico to the American border have started climbing the 18-foot high fence that separates the two countries as they prepare to turn themselves over to US authorities to seek asylum. More than a dozen asylum seekers climbed the fence separating San Diego and Tijuana under the watchful eyes of US Border Patrol agents on Sunday as people rallied on both sides. Hundreds of Central American migrants arrived at the US border on Sunday packed into five old school buses to rally before a planned mass attempt to apply for asylum in America.  

Syria's army said rockets had struck several military bases in the Hama and Aleppo countryside, according to state television. The missile attacks took place at around 10.30pm last night. ' Syria is being exposed to a new aggression with some military bases in rural Hama and Aleppo hit with enemy rockets,' an army source was quoted as saying without elaborating. Earlier, state television said successive blasts were heard in rural Hama province and that authorities were investigating the cause. The European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC) recorded a 2.60-magnitude earthquake in the area after the huge blast. An opposition source said one of the locations hit was an army base known as Brigade 47 near Hama city, widely known as a recruitment centre for Iranian-backed Shi'ite militias who fight alongside President Bashar al-Assad's forces.

Mark Bladen, 53, said he was giving the boy a 'good old fashioned talking to' when the 15-year-old smiled at him, causing him to 'snap' (main). Mr Bladen was caught on camera lunging at the teenager and trying to choke him at a skate park in Brisbane, Queensland last month. Speaking out on Sunday, Mr Bladen said he just 'wanted to belittle him in front of his friends'. Mr Bladen's wife said he simply 'did what any parent would do'.

A woman claims she was mistreated on an American Airlines flight for being 'fat and black' after the white woman sitting next to her complained to flight attendants because their arms were touching. Amber Phillips, 28, was flying from North Carolina to Washington DC on Friday when she says the woman sitting next to her spent the entire 45-minute flight making an 'active scene'. Phillips said she ended up being questioned by police when she got off the flight after the female passenger told an air hostess she had been assaulted. She says she took photos and filmed the white woman after they landed so she could document her 'outrageous behavior of trying to humiliate me'.

Gwen Davis, 85, and Eileen Pullen, 89, (pictured inset) revealed how they balanced childcare with work. They are the last two women willing and able to talk about the 1968 Dagenham Ford Motor strike (pictured inset) that was a catalyst for equal pay. Gwen (pictured left with two of her children) recalls making clothes at home after the birth of her children. Eileen (pictured right with her son) says women tended to work at home while their children were little as there was no paid maternity leave. The Daily Mail have launched this year's search for the winner of the Everywoman Aphrodite Award for Mumpreneurs.

Samaritans slaughtered goats and sheep as hundreds gathered on the West Bank to mark the eve of Passover with ritualistic sacrifice. The ancient community gathered on the sect's most holy piece of land, Mount Gerizim, near the city of Nablus, were livestock were roasted over fire pits. The cooked animals will be eaten tomorrow evening (inset, top-left, a devotee carries a carcass). Followers of the sect - which today numbers about 720 - wore white (bottom-left) as they gathered in prayer and song.

This is the incredible moment a surfer breaks the world record for the riding the biggest wave ever surfed. Rodrigo Koxa caught the 80-ft monster at Nazaré in Portugal on November 8, 2017. His record was confirmed on Saturday night at the World Surf League's Big Wave Awards in California. Koxa, who risked his life catching the 24-metre wave, said winning the award was 'the best day of my life.'

A Tesla owner says that his Model X’s Autopilot system saved the day after a semi truck suddenly swerved towards him. Jeremy Visnesky writes “I-95 south driving through North Carolina and a semi decided to nod off or play with his phone or something. Had auto pilot not have bolted to the side I’m pretty sure he would have hit me. Visnesky, said the semi-truck driver was either not paying attention or lost control. Fortunately, the Model X was in Autopilot mode and the technology detected the truck and steered the car out of harm's way.
