The Church of the Last Testament movement was founded in 1991 in the town of Minusinsk (422 km away from Krasnoyarsk) by amateur artist and former police officer Sergey Torop, commonly known as Vissarion. His followers consider him a reincarnation of Christ and his living the Second Coming. The movement claims to unite all the existing religious beliefs.
